9 tips against hay fever!
Unfortunately, hay fever cannot be cured yet, but fortunately there are plenty of tips that can possibly provide relief! Namely:
Tip 1: Avoid pollen. That is definitely easier said than done, but the level is lower in the morning than in the evening. So exercise for a change in the morning before you go to work instead of in the evening.
Tip 2: Wear sunglasses! Sometimes this can help against the pollen that wants to enter your eyes.
Tip 3: Itchy eyes? A wet washcloth on your eyes can help, so you can give your eyes a rest. TIP: Never rub, it will make it worse!
Tip 4: Are you coming in from the outside? Change your clothes immediately, because the pollen is still on your clothes.
Tip 5: Spread petroleum jelly around the nose, as this can immediately help against the irritating pollen.
Tip 6: Do the rain dance, because the rain will rinse the air and you will have less trouble.
Tip 7: Eat honey! Take a tablespoon of honey twice a day from January. Then choose honey from a beekeeper in your own neighborhood, otherwise it will not work. Why honey? The bees already absorb small amounts of the substance (to which you have an allergic reaction) in their honey. By eating this honey, your body builds up antibodies for these airborne substances. This way you may react less strongly to the pollen.
Tip 8: Windows closed in the pollen season! It is logical that you want to air your house from time to time, but do this mainly early in the morning or late at night. You can also put an anti-pollen horn in front of it or open your window in a place where there is little wind.
Tip 9: Use Capsinol Mild Formula. Capsinol Mild Formula contains besides the red pepper also feverfew. The feverfew can reduce hay fever symptoms. The red pepper does not solve the hay fever problem, but it often has a relieving effect on the additional complaints, such as a stuffy nose.
