If you have a cold more often than usual or even have a chronic cold, then Capsinol is an excellent natural remedy to combat those (chronic) colds. But do you suffer from a light or a common cold? Then here we have for you a good and natural recipe of a natural tea that will reduce your symptoms of colds in no time.
What is the recipe?
It is a homemade tea with natural and readily available products that ensure that the complaints of a cold will quickly diminish.
What do you need for this recipe?
– 1 teaspoon of hot cloves
– 600 ml tap water
– 1 broken stick of cinnamon
– 1 large level teaspoon of ginger powder (crushed ginger is also good!)
– Half a teaspoon of chili powder
How do you make the tea?
Boil a generous amount of water in a saucepan. Add the cloves, cinnamon stick and half a teaspoon of chili powder and bring to the boil. Once it has boiled, you can turn the gas a little lower. Put the desel on the pan and let it simmer for five minutes. Then turn off the heat and add the ginger powder. Let it rest for 30 minutes with the lid on the pan without boiling it.
What are the next steps?
After it has stood for 30 minutes, drain everything so that only the warm liquid remains. The remnants of herbs may therefore be thrown away. Then pour the sifted juice into a bowl or mug and then add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and some honey to taste if desired.
How often can you drink the tea?
We recommend that you drink this tea a maximum of 2 to 3 times a day. Do not exceed this. The liquid with cloves, cinnamon, chili powder and ginger can always be reheated and drunk again. However, wait a while before adding the lemon juice and / or honey. You only add this when the tea is already in the mug. This is because the vitamins of the lemon and the quality of the honey are lost when you reheat it and of course we don’t want that.
How should you drink the tea?
Stir the tea well. Drink slowly and in small sips so that the vitamins and minerals have time to reach the body. Do you find the taste too sour? If necessary, add extra honey to make the taste better!
